Changing Material

The most common way of connecting steel components is welding. Steel melts when heated and become solid again when cooled, and this method make use of this property. The wave patterns on the door were formed when it was left to cool after being heated in the welding process.

Patterns generated out of natural phenomena have natural orders. They become more beautiful when a designer’s intent or ingenuity intervenes.
